Your Yoga: Day 3 - Ashtanga ~ Asana

The strength of a person is what is revealed by their body posture, and how one carries oneself - the flexibility, balance and strength that the physical musculature manifests, and mind moulds.


Asana, is the appropriate body posture to communicate, what the spoken language has limitations of.


Dancers express their bodies through dance, soldiers through discipline, and true leaders through the vastness of magnanimity. The Asana reflects your intention; intentions, body, speech in relation to the world that embeds your organic whole.

One has to therefore acquire an appropriate poise to carry themselves to be expressed through their body. The physical body is a powerful medium to endorse your persona, character and intentions.


Asana is the grace of one’s thought manifested in the grace of their body.
